Behavioral Interview Prep
Behavioral rounds decide as many offers as technical rounds, especially at Staff+. 23 answers across 6 competencies, plus a complete guide to FAANG+ expectations and a self-assessment rubric.
The behavioral round got harder
Industry signals and interview conversion data show a ~15× increase in behavioral-round rejections at FAANG and AI labs. Two things drove it. The format shifted: STAR openers now drop into 1-2 technical follow-ups that probe whether you could actually build the system you described. And the rubric got stricter on reasoning, trade-offs, and intellectual humility.
STAR-only prep can't keep up with either change. CRAFT was built for both.
Built on the CRAFT framework
Most behavioral prep teaches STAR. STAR used to get you through ok, but it consistently underperforms at FAANG Senior+ and AI labs because it hides the reasoning, the trade-offs, and the messy middle that those rubrics are explicitly grading. CRAFT (Context, Reasoning, Action, Findings, Takeaway) is our depth-first variant designed for those rubrics, and every answer in our bank ships with 2 design follow-ups for the new light-design behavioral format.
